As a former Division 1 athlete and coach, I witnessed teammates and players struggle with life off the field which impacted their performance on the field.
I have also seen my teammates and players struggle with "the yips" which prevented them from being the best athlete they wanted to be.

Whether it's your first tour or you're out the door, life doesn't stop because we move away.
Culture shock, relationship issues, parenting, finances, transitions, grief/loss/death, identity crises, PCS stress, EFM life, unaccompanied tours, depression, anxiety, substance use - you name it we experience it, and typically without adequate support at post.
This lifestyle can find oneself living inside the embassy bubble.
Talk with someone who understands the bubble but doesn't live inside of yours.

Group Therapy
Group therapy is provided remotely.
Participation requires an individual intake before the first group session to ensure group fit.
Group size is limited to 8 members.
Groups run for 8 weeks.
Weekly attendance is expected.
