Beginning therapy can feel like a big step. If you’re considering working together, the first step is a consultation.  We will discuss your goals, answer questions, and determine whether we are the right fit for each other.

what to expect

  • We’ll dive in to what you’re looking for and determine whether this feels like the right fit. Fit is deeply important, because it’s the greatest indicator of success in a therapeutic relationship. Communication works best when we’re in alignment.

  • We’ll explore what’s been weighing on you and what you’re hoping to change. From there, we can begin identifying patterns that may be keeping you stuck or holding you back from growth.

  • Our sessions are a space where you can be honest without feeling the need to perform. Some days may feel reflective and grounding, some may challenge you to step outside of familiar patterns, and others will give you space to safely brag about accomplishments and celebrate them healthily. 

     

    Therapy is not about quick fixes–what we’re working toward here is lasting change. Over time, clients often notice greater emotional clarity, resilience, and the ability to respond rather than react. That means that our work together will be intentional and unhurried.

     

    While sessions begin as a weekly meeting, as you hone your new skills, frequency gradually decreases.
